Woman, Handicapped, Orphan & Poor's Welfare Society is a voluntary organization which is registered under Societies Registration Act. XXI of 1860. It was established on October, 2011. This is a group of like minded social workers who are working in the fields of basic health, education, environmental protection, rural development, women empowerment and human rights. Organization began with very limited resources as well as manpower. Our branches are:- Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh and Delhi.
THE OBJECTIVE:
To establish, arrange, implement, and construct facilities of develop condition of drinking water, medical facilities in rural areas, low cost housing, low cost sanitation programs in rural areas. To facilitate adequate training to the rural youth, women and girls for attaining leadership and discipline, determined and responsible citizenship for the social and common causes. To facilitate welfare schemes to the poor, widow, destitute women and children. To establish, promote, setup, run, maintain, assist, finance, support and/or help the various community development programs/activities and also construct and develop the community hall, sanitation, public roads, public cemetery, charitable dispensaries, libraries, reading room, short stay home, rest house and other building/institution for use and welfare of the general public. Women, Handicap, Orphan & Poor Welfare Association (WHOPWS) is a non-government organization (NGO) for the development of oppressed and vulnerable sections of the society. Its formed to educate & empower Women, Handicap, Orphan, poor and needy people in all over India.
